Your Studio M Team

Victoria Rock

Founder & Instructor

With a lifelong love of sport and athleticism, I have always believed in the importance of building a strong, balanced body — not just for performance, but for functionality, and emotional well-being.

I love movement. And Reformer Pilates has my heart. There are so many things you can do on a reformer, and the benefits are truly endless. From functional fitness to strength, flexibility and endurance, the reformer enables you to really connect with your spine and discover muscles you didn't know you had. It's my ambition in this space to help others unlock their full physical potential through Reformer Pilates. With a focus on precise alignment, core strength, and functional movement, Studio M will strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where clients of all levels can feel empowered and challenged. I am committed to making Pilates accessible, enjoyable, and transformative for everyone who walks through the studio doors.

I hope to meet you in Studio M very soon.

Vincente L’hoste

Instructor

Vincente was first encountered Pilates while working at one of the biggest dance companies in Canada.

After sustaining an injury whilst running, she started to practice on the reformer. By the time she recovered, she was hooked. Pilates has helped her improve her performance and to find balance and coordination in her everyday life. It is through these body discoveries that she realised she wanted to share her passion for Pilates with others and went on to receive her Mat and Reformer Pilates training certifications with Polestar.

She also holds a Pre and Postnatal certification from APPI.

Figen Alhas

Instructor

Figen has always been interested in the movement of the body and fascinated by the relationship between body and mind. Figen tried a variety of exercise classes, but after my first Pilates session, it was clear this was different from anything I'd tried before. It didn’t take her long to become a believer as she saw how the practice transformed my posture, strength, body awareness, as well as my mind and spirit. After practising Pilates for years, Figen decided to deepen my understanding and share it with others.

Shanice Locke

Instructor

Shanice is a dedicated Pilates teacher who understands the power of movement to support well-being and recovery. Her journey began when Pilates helped restore her mobility after an old injury flare-up.

On her way to achieving full certification, Shanice has completed extensive training in the Pilates system, including Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels with STOTT. She’s committed to ongoing learning to ensure her clients receive the best guidance possible.

While her teaching style is technical and focused, Shanice also keeps her classes light-hearted and relatable, creating an approachable atmosphere. Known for her warm, nurturing environment, she ensures everyone feels supported and encouraged. Her classes invite clients to explore their strength, flexibility, and mobility, meeting them where they are and helping them reach their personal goals.

You’ll leave her class feeling motivated, empowered, and wanting more.
